Teachers: Are You Ready? Stock Your School Returns July 13

Five days to nominate. 12 days to vote. 10 teachers win.

Every July, Simple Modern asks teachers to do something simple: tell us about your school, and then let your community show up for you.

July 13 marks the start of our third-annual Stock Your School campaign. And if the past two years are any indication, what happens next will be extraordinary.

Since launching Stock Your School, teachers from all 50 states have rallied parents, neighbors and friends to cast hundreds of thousands of votes for their schools. Ten teachers win each year. But the impact reaches far beyond the winners.

This year, each of the 10 winning teachers will receive:

• Their Classroom Wish List fulfilled 

• Water bottles for every student at their school

• Simple Modern Getaway Bags for every staff member

• A $1,000 grant for their school

Last year's winners explain what Stock Your School means better than we can:

"Winning the Simple Modern Stock Your School Contest meant much more to me than receiving a prize," said 2025 winner Kaci Richardson. "Seeing students carry and use their Simple Modern water bottles throughout the year was a daily reminder of the positive impact that one opportunity can have on an entire school community. It brought excitement to our students, made them feel valued and allowed me to be part of something that benefited every child."

Fellow winner Jamie Swigert used the grant toward something that will outlast any school year.

"The grant allowed me to help donate toward our outdoor classroom that was constructed in memory of Mrs. Leslie Croft, an incredible teacher who we lost to cancer. The outdoor classroom provides a space for kids to learn and grow, and the Amazon gift card allowed me to purchase hands-on activities for my kindergarten classroom. Staff and students loved the water bottles and bags."

That's what this program is for.

Here's how it works:

• Nominations open July 13 and close July 17. If you're a teacher, this is your window. You have five days to enter.

• Public voting runs July 20–31. Anyone can vote once per day for their favorite teacher.

• The 10 teachers with the most votes win.

If you're a teacher: Apply July 13. Share your link everywhere. Your community wants to show up for you, so give them the chance.

If you're not a teacher: Bookmark this, find a school you love, and vote every day starting July 20. Ten schools will start the year stocked and set up for a great year. One of them could be yours.
