Strategic Growth Focus: Simple Modern Deepens Relationships at Annual Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show

In Simple Modern’s seventh year to exhibit at the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show, the company focused on expanding relationships, leveraging additional intellectual property and growing existing distribution. 


In an effort to strategically grow Simple Modern’s licensed product offerings, the company recently met with existing and potential licensing and retail partners as well as several dozen university and team retail buyers at the annual Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show, the premier event for licensors, licensees, retailers and colleges interested in licensed products.

This is the seventh year for Simple Modern to exhibit at this prestigious show. This year, the team focused on meeting with mostly existing license and retail partners to deepen the relationships to leverage additional intellectual property and grow existing distribution. 

"I'm really proud of the way our team prioritizes partnership in a competitive industry," said Carson Rock, Simple Modern chief sales officer. "Our licensing and sales relationships inside of the Sports Licensed and Tailgate world have never been stronger."

This year, Simple Modern will focus on leveraging additional intellectual property to create greater delight with the fanbase of different licensed products as the company continues to work to deepen relationships with both new and existing licensees.

“We are confident that another great experience at the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show will allow us to grow both our collegiate and professional licensed business,” Rock said. “We received great feedback from all our partners, and we’re excited for where this positions us as we prepare for new, planned licensing announcements in 2025.”
