Simple Modern Releases First-Annual Community Impact Report

Simple Modern’s Community Impact Report highlights the major giving initiatives for 2024.  

  

Simple Modern, which exists to give generously, is pleased to release its first-annual Community Impact Report, a 36-page report highlighting the major giving initiatives of 2024, transparency on its giving impact and profiles of many of its giving partners.

In nine years, the company has given away more than $10 million to more than 1,000 nonprofit partners locally, nationally and internationally. Every year, Simple Modern gives away at least 10 percent of annual profits to communities around the world, and last year gave more than $6 million, with monetary donations of more than $2.7 million and in-kind donations of almost $3.5 million.

“We wanted to create a report that reflected the heart of this company. We want to be a part of bringing good everywhere through generosity while making the best consumer products we can,” said Mike Beckham, Simple Modern co-founder and CEO. “We’re proud of our mission to exist to give generously, and we wanted to clearly explain to our customers and retail and licensing partners how we give – and more importantly – why we give.”

The Simple Modern Community Impact Report will be available first at the annual Simple Modern Giving Summit, Feb. 4. The Giving Summit is a daylong conference for all Simple Modern employees to gather to learn from both existing nonprofit partners and those who would like to become partners about the different missions, goals and progress each is making.

“The annual Giving Summit is an important time for every employee to pause to prioritize our giving initiatives for the upcoming year,” Beckham said. “It is a day to reflect on how best we can serve others and help them bring good to everywhere they touch.”
