Simple Modern Partners with FabFitFun and Nuuds to Bring Relief to LA Fire Victims Simple Modern partnered with the two companies to provide hydration products at two separate donation events, which gave assistance to those who lost their homes in the recent fires in Los Angeles. Simple Modern, whose mission is to exist to give generously, partnered with FabFitFun, a women’s lifestyle subscription service, and Nuuds, a clothing company focused on high-quality and comfortable clothing, to provide donations to the company’s separate relief events in Los Angeles. The donation events benefited those in Los Angeles who lost their homes and belongings in the wildfires that erupted Jan. 7, which destroyed thousands of homes and structures and killed 27. Simple Modern donated 300 40-ounce Trek tumblers to the FabFitFun’s LA Wildfire Build-A-Box event held Jan. 21. The nearly $9,000 donation was available for residents to add to a box of other new items from other companies to help residents start to rebuild. “We were grateful to partner with FabFitFun and Nuuds and start to bring a bit of relief to those who lost everything,” said Mike Beckham, Simple Modern co-founder and CEO. “We can’t imagine the devastation these people are facing, and we hope this brings a little comfort in a time of such loss.”Simple Modern also provided 500 Mesa with Manual Straw Lid to entrepreneurs Daryl-Ann Denner and Danielle Eilers’ initiative to collect essential items for families impacted by the Los Angeles-area wildfires. In partnership with more than 70 brands, Simple Modern’s $15,000 donation was available at a pop-up shop-style event Jan. 19 where fire victims could shop and select the donated items they most needed to start rebuilding their lives. “Partnering with companies and donation events like this align exactly with our mission to give generously as we strive to bring good everywhere we can,” Beckham said. “Our hearts are broken for those that lost so much in Los Angeles, and we hope these donations and events help them to start again after tragedy.”For more information on how to give to the victims of the fires in the Los Angeles area, visit the American Red Cross.
