Licensing Expo Continues to Position Simple Modern as Entertainment Licensing Leader

Simple Modern’s licensing team met with more than two dozen entertainment licensing organizations at the world’s largest licensing trade show, the Licensing Expo held in Las Vegas in late May. 

The Licensing Expo brings together thousands of brands to speak directly with brand decision-makers at major consumer product companies, which will help define pop culture and consumer trends in coming years. Simple Modern has attended the conference since 2019, which has directly led to the substantial growth of entertainment licensing partnerships and products Simple Modern offers and its presence as a leading licensee for these licensors.

“We were thrilled to participate in the Licensing Expo again this year,” said Corbin Wallace, Simple Modern Chief Growth Officer. "The Licensing Expo creates valuable opportunities to meet with existing partners to grow our current business with them and to meet with potential partners and cast the vision and mission of Simple Modern."

In recent years, Simple Modern has strategically grown its entertainment licensing partners to bring popular character products to drive value for both partners and customers. In 2024 alone, Simple Modern has announced more than a half dozen new partners including Moonbug and Sesame Street, with more to be announced in the coming weeks. This joins more than 100 colleges and universities, the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB as well as other international brands like Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Paramount, Hasbro and Warner Brothers as partners with Simple Modern. 

“Simple Modern is dedicated to partnering with brands that will create quality, engaging products with us,” Wallace said. “And we know the meetings and people we work with at this year’s Licensing Expo will help us to continue our growth in the entertainment licensing market.”
